Summary
Georgia HAP Administrators, Inc. (GHA) is a
501c (4) corporation headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia with a
field office in Chicago, Illinois. GHA was specifically created
by its member agencies to conduct performance-based contract
administration for the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban
Development, as well as provide professional services to the
affordable housing industry. As the performance-based contract
administrator (PBCA), GHA must audit federally assisted
properties to ensure that they are in compliance with their
contract and all program requirements. These audits are
conducted for approximately 900 federally assisted properties
throughout Georgia and Illinois.
As a PBCA, we must meet all HUD performance
standards in order to earn our administrative fees. We have
earned 100 percent of all fees since our inception in 2000, and
we are considered a top performer by HUD.
In addition to our work in
contract administration, we provide expert compliance services
to the affordable housing industry. Our services can meet the
specific requirements of our customers and may include the
following services for properties with Housing Credits or
Section 8 Assistance:

We have developed an excellent working
relationship with our customers, including management agents,
owners, industry organizations, and HUD. We have conducted
compliance audits for a number of Public Housing Authorities and
non-profit housing organizations in Georgia and Illinois.
